These raw pumpkin seeds are USDA-certified organic, non-GMO, 100%US grown in the Finger Lakes region of New York. The seeds are an heirloom hulless pumpkin variety that develop without woody shells, unlike most pumpkin seeds sold on the market, which are typically dehulled, processed, and imported into the US from China. Seeds are dried at low temperatures (140 F) for shelf stability and to preserve the delicate omega-3 fats and phytonutrients.
Pumpkin seeds are loaded with fiber and nutrients like Vitamin E, zinc, copper, manganese, magnesium, lutein and zeaxanthin. Sprinkle them on your cereal, yogurt or soups, use as an alternative to nuts such as walnuts or peanuts. Shelf life of the seeds is one year but we recommend refrigerating or freezing in an airtight container to prolong freshness, if you don’t plan to eat them right away.

Absolutely delicious seeds, these genuinely have a much richer flavor to them than the “organic pepitas” you can buy at your local grocery that’s usually sourced from china. You can taste the difference immediately after eating a few of these seeds. I bought a 1lb bag just to make sure these were good quality before order the 5lb bag, now I’m thinking of ordering two of the 5lb bags and be good for many months, these are honest to god delicious.

We’ve tried 5 to 10 brands of pumpkin seeds and these are our favorite by far. Styrian variety as a whole are way better than the hulled variety that most companies sell.
In addition, they are nutrient rich and full of phytosterols.
Unlike most brands that come from China these are grown in the USA. We feel much better about that.
We’ve been buying from Stony Brook for years now and will not change.
