These raw pumpkin seeds are USDA-certified organic, non-GMO, 100% US grown in the Finger Lakes region of New York. The seeds are an heirloom hulless pumpkin variety that develop without woody shells, unlike most pumpkin seeds sold on the market, which are typically dehulled, processed, and imported into the US from China.  Seeds are dried at low temperatures (140 F) for shelf stability and to preserve the delicate omega-3 fats and phytonutrients.

Pumpkin seeds are loaded with fiber and nutrients like Vitamin E, zinc, copper, manganese, magnesium, lutein and zeaxanthin. Sprinkle them on your cereal, yogurt or soups, use as an alternative to nuts such as walnuts or peanuts. Shelf life of the seeds is one year but we recommend refrigerating or freezing in an airtight container to prolong freshness, if you don’t plan to eat them right away.
