How to cook with butternut squash seed oil

Drizzle over prepared foods to add nutrition & zip

  • popcorn
  • instant oatmeal
  • hummus, guacamole, yogurt dips
  • soups, chowders, chili
  • green salads
  • potato, bean and chicken salads
  • Asian noodle soups, miso soup
  • breaded chicken or fish, hash browns
  • Indian meals like chole or paneer (great with naan)
  • couscous and rice mixes
  • chocolate ice cream (great for butternut squash seed oil!)

Trick out your fruits & veggies – add the oils to:

  • sliced avocado, cantaloupe, mango
  • fresh strawberries or raspberries
  • cucumber chunks & lemon juice
  • sauteed leafy greens like spinach, collards, or chard
  • sauteed green beans, asparagus, broccoli or brussel sprouts
  • squash, cauliflower, potato or cabbage soups

Dip in!

  • use as a dipping oil for breads, naan, or crudite
  • add to hummus, guacamole or bean dip
  • add to mixed olives
  • drizzle over goat cheese with pumpkin seeds

Liven up dressings and marinades

  • blend with lemon juice over salad greens
  • add to olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette
