Our Organic Sunflower Oil is USDA, NOFA-NY certified organic, made with sunflower seeds grown by Gianforte Farms in upstate New York. This oil is our version of an unrefined cooking oil suitable for all food preparation. It has a mild flavor of fresh sunflower seeds and pairs well with all foods. High oleic sunflower seed oil is higher in healthy monounsaturated fat, and more stable in cooking. Use for general cooking and baking, up to medium high heat (325 degrees F). The oil is packaged in an light blocking HDPE plastic gallon container with a foil-sealed screw cap.

Organic sunflower oil uses: sauteing foods, salad dressings, baked goods. Smoke point is medium high heat or 325 degrees F. Recommended for stir frying and sauteing, not deep fat frying.

Nutrition: sunflower oil is low in saturated fat and a good source of Vitamin E and fatty acids like palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, and linoleic acid. High oleic acid sunflower oil is higher in healthy monounsaturated fat.
