Our Organic Sunflower Oil is USDA, NOFA-NY certified organic, made with sunflower seeds grown by Gianforte Farms in upstate New York. This oil is our version of an unrefined cooking oil suitable for all food preparation. It has a mild flavor of fresh sunflower seeds and pairs well with all foods. High oleic sunflower seed oil is higher in healthy monounsaturated fat, and more stable in cooking. Use for general cooking and baking, up to medium high heat (325 degrees F). This oil can also be used as a carrier oil or in cosmetics. The oil is packaged in an light blocking HDPE plastic gallon container with a foil-sealed screw cap.
